I love NYC, I lived in Philadelphia, PA and only 2 blocks from the train station and used to take the train to NYC for only $16 one way, what a deal, used to drop me off right in Times Square, I went there often. Although if I had to live there I would not live in Midtown or Downtown, unless work dictated such, it just seems so concrete and there are so many out of towners there it would be hard to have a real home. I would prefer to live on the Westside or Soho would be wonderful, although I hear Soho is very expensive these days.

There are so many tourist there it would be hard to escape them to live a normal life. My favorite part to visit in NYC is Times Square, we stay right on 56st Street and Times Square at a Marriott hotel, wonderful location, right in the heart of all the FUN, but you are right, I could not imagine living there full time, but a wonderful place to visit.

I don't live in NYC, in fact i've never been there...however it's one of the cities in the world i'd like to visit the most. I'm not sure if i'd like to live there, since it's so big and stressing....i prefer smaller cities. But visit? wow i wish i could go there at least once a year!!
