Being 30 weeks pregnant myself, I was just wondering how other women are dealing with their pregnancy. I was recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes, but seem to be handling it well with just a controlled diet. anyone else in this situation? or have any interesting stories?

We are about the same! :) I am also 30 weeks pregnant. Last week my little one wanted to come out early so they had to give me medicine to stop the contractions. It was sooo scary! So...now I'm on moderate bed rest for pre term labor. Sorry, I cant relate to the GD but Im right on track with you as far as how far along we are. What day are you due?

That's awesome. Yeah I am due on December 25th. I really want this baby to come the first week or second week of December so I can have him right on time for Christmas. Nothing too early and nothing too late. : p

I am 38 weeks and 2 days... my pregnancy has been pretty unventful... i am glad no problems so far... my only fear is that my baby will be big (i was 9 pounds when i was born and my bf was almost 10) I had my doctors appt today and she said i am 1.5 cm dialated and 50% effaced so hopefully my baby will be here soon.

Wish you good luck. Dont worry, you'll be ok. My sis-in-law also had the same problem and they took the baby out in 7 months. Fellow is running wild now. When I was pregnant with my younger one, I had placenta previa and was hospitalized for one month for strict bed rest. They took her in 33 weeks and now she is going to nursery.
