Do you enjoy being pampered, or do you feel guilty?

Do you ever feel guilty when pampering yourself with beauty products or being pampered at a beauty salon? Do you think that after all your hard work in life (ie job,housework, kids, etc) that you deserve some you-time and deserve the occasional treat and pamper? Maybe you just feel guilty about leaving the house/kids/partner/taking time off work etc to indlulge yourself? I never feel guilty about being pampered occasionally. I feel like i deserve to have my hair done nice, i work hard to earn some money to afford it after all! I feel i deserve that nice hot bath filled with nice smelling bubble at the end of a long day at work, and i don't feel guilty about buying some nice beauty products to treat myself with.

Everyone deserves to be pampered once in a while. We shouldn't feel guilty about that. I am due to get pampered. I think my husband and I will go to a Spa for a week-end very soon. He deserves to be pampered also.

i do both. I absolutely love it, but always feel terribly guilty about the cost. With two young kids I would rather allow the kids to have any money going spare blessed be

I don't buy a lot of girlie stuff but I will buy the liquid shower gels and lotions. I go to a spa a couple times a year but my biggest treat to myself is a Brazilian wax. Painful yes, but more than worth it.

Oh yes - I love it! And I never feel guilty - life's to short for that! LOL! I love lying in a hot, lavendar scented bath after a long day at work, and if I want to treat myself to some nicw beauty products, make-up, or a new perfume I will do so!

What's wrong with pampering yourself from time to time? If you have worked hard - be it at home or in the office, you deserve some pampering. So don't feel guilty - it will only lessen the enjoyment unnecessarily. :P

I used to feel very guilty when I spent money, but I have learned that money comes and goes and I deserve to feel pampered whenever I can. I work hard for my money and it feels good to relax after a hard day at work/school. It's one oulet that I have and it could be alot worse!LOL! I figure since I don't spend a ton on clothes since I'm always in scrubs, then I deserve to spend it on perfume/bath products/luxury items.
