Recently or sould I say since October my right side of my upper lip swelled up in the morming, I just thought it was some sort of spide bite or something. But the next following month it happed again? And they also the next following month? I thought what the heck is going on. It started a little more offen like 2 -4 times a month and somtimes on my lower part of my lip, then in the last 2 wks I start getting hives on and off, and red rash on my wright that swells when I itch it. Of course last week or so I finally went to my doctor and he referred me to go to an alergist, today the end of my tongue swelled up only for a couple of hrs thouth. I finnaly made the appointment for the alergist today. Anyone every have this? If so or any idea what causes It? Its pretty weird.

I have no idea what it can be but you should definately be careful if your tongue swells up cpmletely. Maybe you hsould just wear a medical tag with your name and address on it just in case. While waiting on your appointment maybe pop into see some alternative medicine people as sometimes they have more knowledge when it comes to these things and it can't do any hard to give it a go. Chinese medicine is one to consider but some of there instructions may appear strange to you and sometimes they have things you may not agree with in their medicine regarding animals. Good luck though in finding out what this and just in case there is any confusion, you can develop an allergie at any time to something even if you have used it for years. Try maybe eliminating things. Change your toothpaste, change you lipstick, change your face cream, food would be a hard one to change but tomatoes and strwberries are a common allergen.

Nope-- But it sounds like an allergy- I am allergic to cats-- and when my cat is around me my nose stuffs up-- when I kiss my cat- my lip get swollen.. If I touch my eye after petting my cat my eyes swell up-- It all goes away after I take an allergy pill. Are you doing anything different? Any new soaps? animals in the house.. I think the allergist is the ebst way to go- Allergies are such a pain in the butt-- I can't imagine my tongue swelling up! It must be hard to talk then.

well, i guess it's time for you to evaluate the food that you're eating. it could be something that you have ingested, you know. me, i'm allergic to temperature changes. i sneeze and keep on sneezing. i've never gone to an allergolosit, though, because i know i will have to undergo a series of tests, and i'm not ready to spend a lot of money for that yet, lol!
