How do you get your husband off the couch to get stuff done?

i have this problem and man oh man it drives me crazy..i hate having to nag it makes me feel like a wife i don't want to be.why can't he just get up do it then he can rest then i would shut up..but instead he just lies there and annoys me to no end finally i get mad and he gets mad and gets up does it and we are miffed with each other the rest of the day and I'm left thinking why??
