When did you bring your kid to disney? How old were they?

Elementary and middle school years are a good time for a Disney first trip. When they are younger than this everything is so loud, and large, and very overwhelming. You will spend most of your time re-assuring them that they aren't going to get hurt. It's more enjoyable for everyone concerned if they are old enough to understand the concepts of all the rides and shows.

I took my children to Disneyland 2 years ago when they were aged 14 and 10. I think they were great ages for such a holiday, they were old enough to enjoy everything and old enough to remember it as well. They still talk about now.
