What are your final thoughts on this years March Madness Tournament? No major surprises, just a couple upsets...what do you think?

Well, bgerig, as far as I am concerned, March Madness is not quite over with yet. How about the women? Rutgers knocked off Duke and LSU. The Duke game was the most exciting. They kicked LSU's booty, holding them to 35 points, the lowest in any NCAA Women's tournament in history. Tonight they take on the great Pat Summit and her Tennessee Vols. It should be a great game. As far as the men's, I kind of lost interest when The Salukis lost. Although, I was delighted that North Carolina lost and did not go to the finals. I guess someone forgot to pay off the referees this year, as they apparently did the year Ilinois was ripped off by the officiating! But, I guess I should get over that. Still, I cannot stand any teams form North Carolina!!! The only thing I like about North Carolina is it produced one of the greatest basketball players to ever lace up a pair of Nike's....Michael Jordan!! Florida made history by repeating as they did. I give those boys kudos for not going pro and wanting to repeat as a college team. College players play for pride, the big paychecks come later, as a result of their talents.

Okedoke...now it's over. Lady Vols took it home. Rutgers is a team with a starting line up of all Freshmen....look out next year, as they will only get better!!!

I really thought that Georgetown would go all the way. But after seeing some of the Gator games in the playoffs. It just seemed that they were hungry for a repeat!

For everyone saying it was a predictable tournament, I did quite horribly in my fantasy bracket! But the quality of the games wasn't the same as in past tournaments. Sure, there were a few overtimes and buzzer-beating winning shots. But overall, the games were kinda boring!

Like you said, no real surprises. All 1's & 2's in the Final Four, no Cinderella teams this year.
