When you love someone

Have you ever loved someone so deeply, that the thought of being without them caused such pain that you thought your very heart was weeping? A love so great that just the mention of his/her name makes your heart flutter and you smile like you have the greatest secret known to mankind? The kind of love that makes you say, he or she is my everything? That is how I feel about my husband. Mushy? Yes, but oh so true. Last July, I wrote a poem about my feelings for him, trying to get into words just what he means to me. To Me To me he is the sunshine That brightens up my day To me he is the laughter That chases clouds away To me he is the music That makes my heart sing To me he’s the voice I long for When I hear the phone ring To me he is that safe place So I sleep in peace each night To me he is that comforting hug That makes everything seem right To me he is an altar Where I can go to pray To me he is the blanket On a cold winter day To me he is a fire With a warm, soothing glow To me he is the angel I make out in the snow To me he is the anchor On life’s troubled sea And I will cherish him forever For he is home to me

Actually yes, I feel this way about my boyfriend. He claims that he feels the same about me as well, but I don't really think he does. He works so much that he sometimes wont even call me, and we don't spend nearly enough time together. I don't really want to leave him though, because I'm not sure if I can find someone else to love the way I love him.

Well you may be right. I guess he hasn't given me any real reasons to doubt him...It just seems like he puts his work ahead of me all the time, and I'm afraid we can never really have a life together because of it.

That is about the worse mistake anyone can make. To me a love relationship is just like a garden, you have to feed and water it to keep it growing and you have to pay close attention to the weeds that would destroy it. Work , while a much needed thing, can become a weed that can choke the life out of any relationship. Finding a good balance between the 2 can be hard, but can also be accomplished. Sometimes I think we spend way to much time chasing material things when really all we need is a roof over our heads, food on our tables, heat and cooling, you know, the things that keep us alive. Anything left over is a perk, but if you have nobody to share with, what good is it to you?

Take the time you do have and spend it with quality. Try not to doubt with little reason. If he is working that hard, then maybe he doesn't have the time to call when you think he should. On the other hand, you can find true love in the strangest places and with the most unexpected people. I did, my husband and I are opposites in most things, but we work, it just is.

That is the coolest feeling ever isn't it? That is how I feel about my hubby too He was stationed in Kuwait for a year and with his training he was gone for 16 months! I was so lost without him I felt like I wasn't complete until he came home i love him so much. That is an awesome poem

I've had that feeling about someone before, but sadly I know that the two of us will never be together again... We have both moved on and are in new relationships and I think there's too much scar tissue to ever be fixed.

I am sorry about your lost love, but what of your new one? I hope you find the same feeling in this relationship!

Yes! It took me years to move on and get rid of the pain, but of course the care and love is still there.

when you love someone, that is the most happy time I think, at that moment, you will be a giver, you want give all of you to your lover, at the sametime , your lvoer willl give you all ,you are the receiver, you will find you are so happy when you get back from the love you pay out.
