Is Sanjaya Malekar upto the mark????

no he can sing, but he is not that good compare to other contestant, especially chris sligh. i think he has a million of votes from his relatives that's why he is still in the competition. i Can accept that all the excellent contestant is out and he stay, i think if he won against Melinda Dolitte or even Lakisha Jones, america will protest.

I dont think that he is that good and what was up with that mohawk last week he looked like a blooming idiot.

from what ive heard (and i dont know if its true or not) but because of a show Howerd Stern did..he was telling all his listeners to "vote for the worst". Howard Stern is nation wide and has millions of fans, and it is certainly something that is fully in his character to do..lol and probably his fans as well. but if you believe this rumor..then that is why Sanjaya is still in the competition. the Stern fans are skewing the vote. Sanjaya definatly does not deserve to be there..especially compared to the ones that have been voted out recently.

all this happens because of audience votes..........its not necessary that to whom audience votes today will be a famous singer tomorrow...........in audience votesd there is gr8 scope of cheating by majority of ppl............so if sanjaya wins i wont be surprised.........

Sanjaya Malakar is not that bad a singer, he is just not Idol material, I am just not sure if he is an Indian national he does not have the voice, the looks, the X factor, I am also not sure if his staying power in Idol is due to the huge population of Indian nationals in the US, or sympathy votes from those who pity him since he is a subpar singer compared to Sundance and even to the Filipino AJ Tabaldo...if Sanjaya goes all the way to win American Idol, I am not even sure if there will be a season 7 for the said talent show...
