If mylot would give us an option to get paid by checks...

Would you prefer it over paypal or egold? Many sites pay with direct checks and it would work better than egold and paypal for many people. Maybe members who can receive Paypal will not prefer a check but I would prefer payment by check rather than egold.

I think cheques would benefit more those who stay in the States. If you do not have a USD account based in USA, the cashing fee for a USD cheque is relatively high. It may cost some US$20 on average. myLot doesn't exactly pay so much. Deduct a $20 fee and you pretty much have nothing left. I see you are from Egypt. There is no such cashing fee for you?

Other sites paid me with direct checks and I was charged $1 to $2 USD by the bank no matter how big or small the amount was.. for egold i will have to pay fees to an exchanger, and they send me a check and i pay fees again to cash it. so It would work better for me if i receive payment directly from mylot. I think it would be the same for people receiving egold, as they will have to pay more fees to actually receive cash in hand..

LOL. I'm not sure if you tried it yourself.. it may be next day "bank wire" transfers that you are talking about, here too in can cost about $20 and it's good only for large sums (I haven't received any large sums yet :) checks take longer to receive by mail then to be possessed by the bank but it worth the wait since the fees are minimal :)

I think I would still preferred it if I would get paid in e-gold because this is the only processor that works in my country for now. If they are giving by checks I really don't know if it works here, besides it might cost some higher fees.

I do not have any egold account, so this one should not be my chioce of receiving payment. I think it is not good for me to get a cheque in USD, I only get 25 dollar in my payment, I think i would have nothing left if i deposit the cheque into my bank account because the bank will charge customers 20 dollars(or more) for each cheque in foreign currencies, that mean I may only have 5 dollars left which may be just enough to pay for the monthly bank charge.. It is easier for me to get the money through paypal as I can choose when to deposit back to my bank account, it is mroe flexible.

I wouldn't opt for checks mainly because I'm from out of the US and cashing a $10 check here is a waste of time since the bank charges alone costs $10. I would prefer Paypal over e-gold because there are a lot of people complaining that their accounts have been hacked over at e-gold. There are many people that are unhappy with Paypal but I haven't had any trouble with them yet so I would prefer them.

The paypal option at present is just excellent and fastest I think. You feel it cumbersome in the beginning but you will definitly like the paypal mode only. The money transfer through cheques takes long time to recieve your paymentsactual cash in your hands. The paypal amount can be used in three easier ways. 1. get transferred to your bank account by providing your credit card details to paypal people. 2. Make some excellent e-bay shopping where few e-bay shops allow you to buy through the paypal transfers. 3. Just transfer your paypal balance to one of your feiend who operates his paypal account smoothly since a long. and collect the proportionate amount from your friend in cash form. (this even saves you from i/tax formalities too.) I am already in your friends list so you can ask me (through the private message srvice in mylot) the cash if you are located in or near pune or any where in india through hdfc /icici bank. The one I mentioned in sr. no:1 is a best and all time solution. I am happy with paypal account transfers. Wish you great earnings in the life.

I expected that people using paypal should be happy with it, but Paypal doesn't work in my country so i must receive my earnings to egold. then I have to transfer it again to my bank account via an exchanger (by check) so I think for many people like me; receiving a check directly from mylot would be better. But thanks for your comments anyway :)

I prefer paypal, but I think that checks would be a good idea for some people. I know a few people that don't have a paypal account, and for one reason or another they can't open one up. Checks would be a good way for them to get their money.

I live in the UK and a cheque would take longer to get to me and cost a fortune with the exchange rates. So I would stick to paypal. However, I think it would be a good idea to introduce this as an extra option as I'm sure there are lots more people here on mylot who would prefer this method of payment also.
