Would cutting down of fats and oils help you to lose weight?

Has anybody tried this way to loose weight? Becaus efats has more than twice as many callories to the ounce as carbohydrate and protein. What is your opinion on this?

I haven't tried it yet. But I heard that to diet is more about the quantity of what you eat. Eat small portions and you'll proprably loose weight. And some fats are good for our body with the help of vitamin K, if I'm not wrong it helps the process of healing. Because I had to undergo cholecystomy before, and due to my failed gallbladder wasn't able to break fats properly. I got really thin. And I had to have vitamin K injections to promote fat absorption and avoid bleeding for my operation. Sorry for the long explanation (^^,LOL^^,)

i tried for some time not for reducing fat but for pimples its works for pimples...also egg..but now i need to reduce my fat but what to do i'm a feeding mother so can't cut or reduce anything..!!!any idea???

Yes ruducing fats and olily foods will surely help u lose weigh as well as save u from heart diseases

Yes reducing the amount of fat in your diest will help you lose weight.your body does need some fat to function correctly though so you shouldnt remove all fats from your diet but switching to good fats like olive oil and reducing the quanities you con summe can definetlt help in weight loss

i dont think this realy works. i have seen many of my friends eat a lot of food rich in fat but they never gain weight even though the rearly play. where as i have found my self to gain weight even though i hate non vege which usually contains a lot of fat. i think this is on ur body capality. i believe that it does not matter if u cut down fats and oily food from ur diet u may not lose weight it depends on ur body.
