do i celebrate now or celebrate later when the pay out is actually made?

just a mylot reflection:
i didn't pay much attention to earnings earlier when i signed in, and was quite surprised by the congratulatory message from mylot that my earnings for march qualify for my first pay-out on or before april 15th.
i was happy to have beaten the clock, coz a day before the end of the month, i was almost $2 short of the minimum pay out. i told myself, it's alright if i don't make it, anyway, i've just been here 3 weeks and not 300 posts yet to my name.
and then i made $2.44 for 50 posts... well, it felt good.
but then i remembered that there will be "clean up", that some discussions may be deleted and earnings may decrease. so with my last month's $10.59, how much would be retained after the clean up... when will be the clean-up actually?
now i'm reflecting, should i celebrate now and congratulate myself for making my first pay-out... or celebrate later when the actual pay-out has been confirmed credited to my e-gold account?

i think u can celebrate it now as mylot has already contacted u it means u r going to get ur pay out for sure!:) i don't think clean up is going to reduce ur earnings by more then few cents. and as far as i remember they do it near the 15th of every month before the pay out. and congrats for making $2.44 for 50 posts that's quite good!!:)

Hi,
If any of you guys interested to make more money why not do article writing. There is no need to worry about getting paid with decrease earning for clean up posting.
I am doing a recommendation on this site

thanks kaplya! it's not a private message or something sent by mylot to inform me of the pay-out, i just found it in the earnings page... just automatically informing the mylot user if he or she has achieved enough for the pay-out. :)

Celebrate after achieving your goals. You haven't achieved it yet. I make it a habbit to celebrate after achieving goals. I wouldn't feel good if i celebrated and then find out later that I didnt' achieve my goals instead.

Congratz on hitting your first payout. Wow with just close to 300 posts. I think celebrations are called for. But just don't overspend on it. Cheers

Wow congratulations! I'm glad you met the minimum though I didn't meet the minimum. I lack $1.90 the day before the end of the month but I didn't reach the minimum. But it's ok for sure I will get something next payout. It's ok to be happy but I think you better celebrate when you already got the money. But again congratulations. Good luck and Keep posting!

You done great job. I think you must Celebrate only after getting your payout.
And one more thing is, where is e-gold option? Please explain me to include our e-gold account number in our myLot account. I must be appreciate it very much.

Congratulations for making a payout, but I don't quite understand about the clean up. What exactly does that mean anyway? Will they delete posts and then deduct money that they were supposed to pay out in the first place? I certainly hope not. In any event it is certainly cause for celebration.

yes, clean-up is like that. but mylot has certain grounds for deleting posts or discussions... just those that violate the regulations as well as spams. :)
i do try to avoid discussions like that. :)

I would go ahead and celibrate a little bit. I had a few post deleted because the topics were bad but I still made my payout that month. Since you have $10.59 I doubt it would get taken down that much. So i would go ahead and celibrate and congrats on the payout.

Why not have two small celebrations. You are not far off your 300 points mark, so have a little celebration when you reach this and then have another little celebration when you receive you paymount. Congratulations on receiving your first payout and I hope you will receive many more. Keep up the good work.

? i really cannot imagine you could earn so much within suck a short period of time and with so few postings. how can this be achieved. i have done a little more than 100 postings but i am still earning very littl.e only more than a dollar. and i know no reason why my efforts wouldn't be paid as the amount of work i did. much too weird. how i am supposed to do so that i can earn some more bucks. waiting for you mails at nic_knick@hotmail.com

there are several ways i could tell you how but the main focal point will be "quality". go for relevance and usefulness. i've made no secret of what i do and don't, as well as what i earn and how.

Well I would say wait till the payment is actually in your e Gold account. While I don't see your earnings being decreased by more than a few cents for any discussions that might be deleted I'd play it safe.

I would go ahead and celebrate, its a mile stone:). I haven't been here very long myself, don't have many posts yet lol, and so far I have little over $2 in my account. We'll see what it is tomorrow after the posts that I have made today. I don't remember how many posts I had when I logged in today but I think I am doing pretty well for being a newbie :). I don't have any referrals yet either even though I have been trying hehehe. I do congragulate you on your mile stone and hopefully soon I will be able to celebrate it myself!

i think it would be better if you wait for your payment first before you celebrate. it would be a nice feeling when you get your hard-earned money right in your hands. you must be working too hard in posting discussions here in mlot so you deserve to relax and enjoy.
i didn't know about the "clean up" you are mentioning here. if it's gonna happen. poor me!!! it will take sometime again to increase my earnings. being in mylot really demands much of your time. anyways, i am enjoying a lot here.

Wow that's a lot for 50 posts, congratulations! After 121 posts I've only made $2.28. But I would wait to celebrate after you get the money because then you will have it and it will be yours and no one can take it from you. If you celebrate now, something might happen for you to not get it (I'm not trying to be pessimistic here, but it could happen). Congratulations, though! I'm eagerly waiting when I get my first pay out. :)

I hope that cleanup isn't too rough, I've got over $7 now and I'd be crushed if i got knocked back by dollars or something that was hard work. A few of my discussions were when I was new and I responded (as constructively as possible) to whatever popped up that I could make sense out of. I'm afraid some of those posts might go =(.
