I don't know about the rest of you. But lately I have been getting alot of e mails that read somethin like this
Dear sir I am the attorney for whoever from wherever and due to their recent and unexepected death. And the lack of my ability to locate their next of kin I am offering you the opportunity to help me aquire these funds amounting to 12.5 million us dollars. to be split as 60 percent for me and 40 percent for you
On the average day I get at least three of these. So I decided that I would have some fun of my own and I keep responding that I will be happy to help should they deposit 1,000.00 dollars to my pay pal as a measure of good faith that surely 1000.00 dollar investment for the gain of millions should be acceptable.
And yet Not a one of them has deposited any money to pay pal I really am starting to think that they might be scams (LOL)

Oh my goodness what an excellent idea - I got 2 of these just this morning, I've gotten so used to them I just delete them without even finishing reading... I am liking the idea of the 'good faith deposit' though - I'm sure none will go for it but hey doesn't hurt to try :) LOL scamming the scammers - I love it!

Oh you are so right - I also get those spam scam emails - but have to admit it amazes me when you hear of someone actually responding to them like they really believe that the email they got is a real one!!! Such a shame that losers that send out those can actually get someone to respond to them!!!

Yes it is sad. Some poor saps are thinking that these are real. I just don't understand how anyone can really fall for these.

I have read the same topics here in Mylot but with diffent email style. In the first place, you should not trust any e-mail that will promise you millions for all of this is just a plain ruse. No one has been paid from it before. Instead of gaining a big amount of money you will definitely end up broke with it.
I don't know why there are people that will do anything just earn something. There should be some agencies that will investigate these kind of schemes before many people got fooled with it.

They don't earn anything. Their profit is obtained by cheating people. But thanks for responding.

By all means please do. It's kind of like the telemarketers, sometimes I just like to keep them on the phone as long as I can asking all kinds of questions like I am really interested and they are about to make the sale but then I usually end the call by saying well I would like to go ahead with this purchase and If they'll give me their home phone number I will be happy to call them while they are eating dinner and we can place this order.

Well, a few hours have passed.....has your paypal account increased any yet? LOL Have you seen the stories Dateline has been running recently about internet scams? They have actually gone to meet some of these people, in London I think it was. It's so sad that people still fall for this kind of thing.
