That my dear friends is what I found myself yelling at my husband a mere 6 months ago. See, he had found a game site that was totalling sucking up all his free time. HE literally logged into it first thing in the morning and first thing when he got home for the day. Weekend yard work? Never got done. Maintainence? never got done. Time for me or the kids? never had any. He would stay up until 3-4 in the a.m. playing this game and talking to other gamers. Then sleep in until noon. I finally, got to the point that I asked him if the gaming was more important to him the his family. I guess it sank in because he backed off. I'm not saying that he never plays anymore, but at least we get him most of the time now. I also admit that I went out unto the game site and joined up. It is fun, it is addictive. It is also designed to do everything that it can to keep you engaged. I think that that is pretty incidious myself.

Puzzle Pirates. We also looked into a really cool site called Second Life, although my system is just not fast enough to make that a good option for me.

I know how you feel. My husand is a gamer. Mostly RPG, but some other ones too. I really don't care except when it takes what I consider "my time". I told him one day that I felt like a computer widow. There didn't need to be another woman as long as he had a computer. He hates to see me cry and I think he hadn't realized how much time he spent doing it. Now, we have combined our computer room/craft room and brought some toys in so that the whole family can be together, but still all be doing what we like to do.

OMG! I told mine the whole computer widow thing too! I even said that at least if it was a living human being that I was up against I could fight that, how can you fight a totally virtual fantasy??
