Did you hear about the guy who went online, he started with a red paper clip, and went on Craiggs list and traded it for something, which he traded for something else....until he traded it for a movie role, which he traded a town for a house? I thought it was awesome, he started with a paper clip and ended up with a house. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2006/07/07/paperclip-house.html here is the link to the story. Its pretty smart on his part, but who'd think it would turn out that good?

Yes, I heard about him. Pretty smart thing to do. He must be a smooth talker to get people to trade more valuable things for a paper clip. LOL..

I heard about this as well - how did he ever get a house out of it - now everyone is going to be online trading small items like pens and buttons for something else - watch and see

Can I trait a hair on my head? lol. No, really that is very awesome.. It is neat. I think Trade groups should be set up like that to help people out more often. - DNatureofDTrain

Yes, I have heard this story. He actually traded alot of things. He did it for a long time and was very persistant. I don't know if I would be able to do all of that. What about you. Would you have the patience?

Yeah, I heard about that. Crazy, isn't it? It took him a long time, and he just slowly continued trading up and up, until he finally got an actual house. I couldn't believe it when I read about it the first time.

I don't think I would have the time or the patience. But Persistance pays off I guess
