snickerdoodle cookies

here is the recipe i promised you soulgirl
snickerdoodles
1c shortening
1.5 cups sugar
2 eggs
2.5 cups flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp salt
cream shortening,sugar and eggs together
add rest of ingredients mix well
shape into walnut sized balls
roll in a cinnomon sguar mixture
place on cookie sheet bake 8 to 10 minutes
at 400 degrees

Ohhhhh how I love snickerdoodle cookies. They are probably my favorite. It is a cold and rainy day and I think warming my kitchen with the oven and filling my house with the smell of cookies sounds fabulous. I'm glad I ran across this... my goodness, it is 3 years old, but just what I needed. Thanks, lightningMD.
