to be different this time around. I know it is silly because I am a girl, but I am terrified of rasing one. I would love feedback from anyone who is a parent to boys and girls on how it is differnt raising your sons versus your daughter. Any advice from parents of girls? Thanks in advance. PS: My husband I are thrilled at the thought of having a daughter, just a little nervous.

I have a daughter who is 4 years old and my son is 15 months. They are two different personalities from hot to cold. My daughter was a good baby, but as she got older she got more and more attitude. I have always heard that girls are harder as they age, and so far it's true, but that is with me, it could be different with each child. My son is on the go all the time, but he can also be a really good baby, he can sit and just play for the longest time. I'm not sure what he will be like, but to me, he honestly seems to be a pretty good baby and different then his sister was at his age. They both were pretty good babies, but he is just different. I guess you will have to just wait and find out how it is different. I think you will catch on pretty well. Don't worry about anything. Your daughter will be amazing! Just remember that each and every child is different.

I have a five month old girl and I can tell you, you won't get peed on as quickly! I hope to havea boy next time and will definitely have to learn how to be quicker at diaper changes! I am more scared to have a boy I think. bUt it is true that girls, as they get older, are more hormonal and may give you a run for your money. Good luck to both of us!

I have a 3 year old son and a 6 month old daughter, and I too was terrified of a girl, although I really wanted one. At this stage though, all babies are different. My first was really laid back, didnt cry unless he needed something. This one, the girl had colick until 4 months. But she is doing better, now, I dont see that much of a difference now, as she is still young, but I was way more terrified with her, my second than I was with my son, my first. It was weird, But I am sure you guys will do fine, and congrats on the girl!! =)

I have a baby girl who is 11 months, and a nephew who is only a few months older. I also have a few friends who have boys, and I dont know if it is because every kid is different or not, but my little girl is less clingy than all of the little boys we know. I've also talked with my friends and we've all agreed that they make much cuter clothes for baby girls than boys.. I guess it's all based on opinion though! Good luck! Little girls are so much fun!
