Why are some days great and other days we are miserable?

Some days, I feel wonderful, I get loads done and all is well with teh world. Then I can have a day where technically nothing is different, but I feel depressed and upset all day. I wish I could work it out. I have so many things I want to be doing, I don't have time to feel down.

I am like that too only lately I have more of the days when I get nothing done and I feell so depressed. I hate it when I feel like that too. I am so gripy and nobody wants to be around me at all on those days.

I am like that too I think it has to do with your lifestyle, I have more days like that now because Im in a bad situtation in my life and it also has to do with stress, if theres a lot of things going on with your life you will have a lot of bad days, but if something good has happened in your life you will have more good days, I dont like it when people at work sometimes give me an attitude with no reason because they are having a bad day thats not my fault but oh well that's life and theres some things you have to deal with everyday

Its a good point about lifestyle, my life is completely packed at the moment and I can't see an easy way to stop any part of it. Oh well, must just trudge on I suppose. I absolutely refuse to start popping pills for it, I'm sure there must be a way to shake it off without in my case.

I too, have days like that. Good days and then, not-so-good days. I never really felt like that until after I had my first child, 7 1/2 years ago. So, originally, I chalked it up to post-partum depression. But those feelings lingered, even through having my second child. Finally, I went to the doctor about another medical condition I had, and discussed these blah feelings that I would have more times than not. She prescribed this medication called Effexor. Although it was supposed to take a few days for it to be effective, I swear I could tell the difference from the very first pill that I took. I've been on it now for over 4 years. I still get a day here and there where I feel the blahs, but it's not as often as it used to be.

I know what you mean, i'm supposed to be revising at the moment but just don't feel in the mood for it, yet yesterday i did really well and was feeling great, very bizzare. There was a theory suggested in an episode of Red dwarf, which said that there are positive and negative viruses. Positive ones make you feel great for no reason, or make you lucky etc, while negative ones make you ill or make you feel miserable. Not a likely reason, but an interesting theory
