Ironing advice for table linen please!

I have been put in charge of laundering and ironing some table linen. You know the professional looking white table cloths and napkins. Not too many - 13 people were at the dinner and I would like to give it ago myself.
Do you have any advice for me? Should I buy spray starch? Should I iron when the linen is still slightly damp?

Oh, yes! Iron when linen is still slightly damp. Even then, some wrinkles may persist. Use plain water in a spray bottle for the stubborn ones. I only starch clothes because they need to stand up to lots of moving and crumpling. Make sure your iron plate (the part that gets hot & actually touches the cloth) is clean, too. Ironing linens is very meditative -- have fun!

I find that ironing when it is slightly damp works best. It is softer and, the wrinkles come out easier.
