Finding Easter Eggs

Easter isn't a huge Holiday to us, but our dog Rascal does love finding Easter eggs. Yes he enjoys hunting them up and finding them around the house. He gets so excited when he has sniffed one out. So each year we hide a few for him a couple times in the day on Easter. We put him in the bedroom and close the door and he waits in there and comes running out to find them when we let him out.

Thats really funny. I have never heard of a dog doing that. Are they the hard boiled eggs or the plastic ones? I am wondering if he tries to eat it when he finds it.

They are hard boiled regular colored Easter Eggs.
He licks them, but doesn't really want to eat them.
He's found Easter Eggs as long as I can remember. We even have video of him, but never have set them in yet.

Not YouTube no...but we have thought about American's Funniest Animals or America's Funniest People, just never have lol

Does he just like to find them or does he like to eat them too?
I would have never thought that a dog would like to do that...how did you find out that he did like to find eggs?
That is sweet of you to allow him to do that! :)
