There is this wonderful Wildlife Safari/Park on the Oregon Coast. We were able to go there in 2005. You are able to walk around with animals such as deer, goats and other little animals. As well as pet baby tigers, bears and whatever baby animals they have there. We were even able to hold a baby tiger too. Its a wonderful place to go on the Oregon Coast though and I highly recommend it if you are ever on the mid to southern Oregon Coast - you'll see signs for it everywhere.

That sounds like a really nice place. I have never even been to the zoos around here. (I am so deprived. lol) But I think I will make it a goal to at least go to a zoo this year. I doubt that i will ever get to the Oregon coast, but you never know.

I have never been to the zoos where I live either. :( We are soo deprived! LOL I have been to a nature park though. It is very peaceful and wildlife is present. That is what one of the signs say because of a mountain lion that was found in the park and killed some family pets. The sign reads : This is a nature park, Wildlife is present! :) Funny, huh?

Wow! That would have been an amazing experience! Not everyone can say that they have petted a baby tiger! Pretty cool! I will have to remember that if I ever get to take a trip in that direction! Thanks for sharing! I am sure that was really awesome!!!
