There is a 74% chance a major hurricane will hit the US for the 2007 prediction. Are you prepared? Any tips for those who are not? Did you go through the hurricanes in 2004?

I've been through a couple of hurricanes. Thenkfully, they were not really bad ones...at least, not bad where I was at the time. I would certainly advise doing all the things the hurricane prep people and articles tell you about. Especially the water. Be sure to have plenty of drinking water. And light...flashlights, lanterns, etc. And one more thing: Scan all your important documents onto a computer. Things like your bank account numbers, your life insurance papers and numbers, safety-deposit numbers, driver's license numbers, health insurance claim numbers, car registration numbers and tag numbers, etc. After scanning that info, download it all onto a flash-drive, one of those things that adds memory to your computer and put it on your key ring or some place handy that you can grab it up quickly if you need to evacuate. You might also want to record any medication information, numbers, amounts, etc. the say way. This way you will have all your vital information together if you lose your home, cars, etc.
