Dried fruits are one of those old grand ma's recipe I am also missing. She makes lots of dried fruits- grapes and raisins, prunes, cucumber, soft and chewy dried mangoes, dried banana chips, dried papayas, moist and flavorful dried pine apples and a whole lot more. You, whats your favorite dried fruits?

I too love dried fruits and they are so sweet, I often eat them instead of candy if I have them on hand. My favorites are apricots, pears, and peaches. Oh I love traditional raisins and cranberries are great too! I always buyt them from the store though. I do not have a food dehydrator, and have never heard of a way to amek them in the oven.

My family loves banana and apple chips. We usually will eat those in place of potato chips.
