As the song goes, "it's the lover, not the love who broke your heart last night! It's the lover not the dream, that didn't work out right!" Therefore, i conclude, it's the lover not the love who's blind!

I guess it depends on how deep is your love. When you're madly, insanely in love with someone, it's true you tend you look at the brighter side of that person, even at times when that person makes a mistake or does bad things no one would be proud of. You, your mind to be more exact, reinforced by some chemicals, chooses to neglect such things that would be potential harmful to your relationship. In that sense, love indeed is blind. However, if that is not the case, love might be myopic rather than blind. There are still little bits of unpleasant stuff you will notice and find annoying. But meanwhile, if you also have the urge to make them right, it just evinces that you care, otherwise you'd be indifferent about any of that, which just from an another angle, shows your feelings towards that very person. So, maybe love isn't completely blind. Sometimes what it needs is just contact lenses.
