Wings vs Bluejackets (4/2/07)

I certainly hope this isn't any indication of what the Wings have in store for the playoffs. The score of tonight's game certainly didn't reflect the game itself. Columbus came close to owning Detroit in both of the first two periods. The score would have been surprisingly lopsided, had it not been for Hasek and his stellar performance in net. The Wings woke up in the third, and managed a great set of goals. Draper got an open net in the end of the period. When you get this close to playoff hockey, you expect great efforts and a certain level of grit from all of the players. That just simply wasn't there tonight. On a positive note, Bertuzzi got his third goal of the season. Datsyuk also extended his point streak. With any luck, Detroit will have a strong finish against Chicago in their two remaining games to clinch their division and take the President's Trophy for yet another year.

meh, i think the wungs are goin to be knocked out in the first round, just like last year. Mayhe in just bitter(Kings fan).
