Ya, doctors also suggest it. Laughing should be by heart. When we laugh by heart, our whole body involves in it and we get maximum benefit. This is like an exercise for whole body. Just to open the mouth is not real laughing. It should be lengthy also. For a while or minutes is not sufficient. For enough laughing there should be interesting topic also which forces us to laugh fully.

Yes for me laughter is the best medicine. That’s why I love being around funny people or people with a great sense of humor, especially when I'm down and very much frustrated with what’s going on with my life. Just a simple joke from a friend can easily make me feel better not for long but- it does give me temporary relief from all the aches that I'm feeling. I love watching comedy shows as well, makes me forget my problems for a while and keeps me entertained. I think we should laugh as much as we can- a every possible time that we can. I agree that laughter does make us feel better- it also helps heal or cure some illnesses that we may have. It was also clearly shown in Robin Williams’ movie “Patch Adams” from that movie alone, you can see how many lives- happiness or laughter can change and cure.

I like to laugh until I cry. That's when I know it has been a good cleansing laugh. A really, really good laugh makes me feel like I have been cleansed of all the stupid little things that can get in my crawl at times. My husband and I have a friend that can make me laugh by just talking about what he had for dinner. I look forward to times with him. He is actually my husbands best friend but I don't see him as much as my husband does. I get really great belly laughs out of just hearing stories second hand after they have spent time together. It is great.

It is a fact that laughter is the best medicine. I have recently watched in a popular magazine show that different tones of laughter has each a positive effect in the body. The ho-ho-ho laugh actually relieves us from feeling too full after a meal. 20 minutes of continuous laughing can lead to weight loss, and others. For me personally, I believe that laughter is the best med for my worst illness - STRESS!

I love a good laugh and must admit I laugh at silly things also. When we laugh our brain releases a hormone called seretonin. It's a feel good hormone. So the more we laugh the better we are going to feel.

Laughter is the best medicine for the heart. Laughter along with an active sense of humour ,may help protect you against a heart attack . "Laughter is the best medicine" is a very old saying and it is very much true. The ability to laugh , ither naturally or as a learned behaviour is an important implication today. A good belly laugh can give you the same benefits as an aerobic workout. Laughter boosts the immune system and lessens pain. It reduces stress, lowers blood pressures and has a beneficial effect on our over all being. the most important thing is that it is free of cost. you dont have to pay a penny and gain so much. if u are feeling sad, run down, or so ...., try laughing more. it will help u feel better and will help u put the spring back in your life. i believe that if people can get more laughter in their lives they are a lot better off. i think that its the act of laughing plus a good sense of humour , a positive attitude, and the support of friends, and family that makes people fel better.when we laugh we stretch muscles throughout our face as well as body , our pulse and blood pressure goes up. in this way we breathe faster sending more oxygen to our tissues. its a workout. it appears to burn our calories. according to studies around 50 cal. are burnt if we laugh full heartidly for 10-15 min. so one should laugh.

I do agree with you that laughter is a very effective medicine. Laughing, even induced laughter, makes someone happy. And when the mind is happy, it is healthy. A healthy mind breeds a healthy body.

I agree with you. We should just laughed it off, and laugh as loud as possible. I have tried the laughter therapy and found loud laughter release stress and lets out any penned up emotions in our belly. After the loose air are release, we feel relax and good. On the other hand, laughter can help one "hide" a lot of things one do not want others to see. Some people laugh after they said something nasty or critical or unpleasant to the ears. I am good at detecting such disguise and I find it disgusting.
