What is your favorite ethnic food?

What is your favorite ethnic food? Mine is a between Middle Eastern food and Indian food. I could eat both everyday. I love falafel and tahini in a pita--Middle Eastern. Any dish that does not have fish would be my favorite Indian dish. I love vegetable biryani, palaak paneer (sp?), chicken tikka,etc. What about you?

I prefer my country's food, but my husband likes Indonesian food, his Dad served in the army there, for 5 years, and he introduced it to the family. It was a bit strange in the beginning, but I enjoy it now. My favorites are Bami Goreng ( Indonesian Stir Fried Noodles ) and Nasi Goreng (Indonesian fried rice)

I have never had Indonesian food. We have a friend from Indonesia. She said that at the next party we both attend, she would bring some food from her country. Looking forward to it.
