Anyone else not into American Idol this season?

I'm glad to hear they may have replaced that to Catch a predator...catching ID people seems more worthwhile a pursuit when you break things down to statistics and truths. As for American Idol, I think this year has revealed some facts about the show to people and the truths behind it and that this may be the start of the decline. The shows creators are going to have to do some re-working of the formula if they want to have it stay such a big success.

This show has been a joke this season. I haven't even managed to watch a whole show all the way from start to finish except for the first few "tryout" shows. I just think no one is really that great this season, and the whole world is focused on Sanjaya which is really unfair to the other better contestants. I even heard on the radio today that the ratings are down a lot. Let's see if they get better next season!

I am not into American Idol at all this season. I didn't even watch the try-outs which are usually the best part. I think I'm over Idol.

I completely agree. Sanjya has completely turned me off to American Idol this season. I can't believe that someone who sounds that horrible could make it this far without any talent at all. Good job America, there you go voting for idiots again ;)

I like to check out American Idol and I was looking forward to it this year, but much like you after a few shows I was just too busy to watch it and now it seems kind've pointless. They are a group singers who were not allowed to audition at American Idol so that no talent nutjobs could go before the judges and make the show entertaining. They are and have been encourageing everyone to vote for sanjaya every week because they figure he has the least vocal talent compared to the others. They contend that the show is not about singing but rather entertainment and instant profits with a ready made star. Ah love them or hate them, it's democracy at its very best, or worst..you be the judge.

I have been a fan of American Idol for a while now but ever since last year when Taylor Hicks won it has not been the same. Chris Daughtry should have took the title last year but of course that didn't happen. If Sanjaya wins this year I am threw with American Idol.
