You may have seen a common thing on other forums called the three word story where each poster has to add three words that carry the theme onwards. That would be a bit silly here as we are enouraged to post at least four lines in the interests of proper conversation and to comply with the guidelines on good posting practice.
So, how about a four line story? Its a good way to get the creative juices flowing and practice sentace construction, grammer and dialogue skills that are useful in our other projects.
All you have to do is read the thread, then add your four lines or sentances that will carry the story forwards.
Here we go:
Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a man who had a very unusual dream. He pondered day and night on how best to achieve his goals, but every solution seemed inadequate. Frustrated by this lack of direction, he took a journey to see a real expert. Before he set out, he packed a small rucksack with things he might need on his trip.

He walked on, by passing walmart towards his quest. As he was walking along, he started wondering... "Why in the world would an angel want me to pursue the sun? Will I get my answer when I reach the sun? Is it even possible to reach the sun?"

In the way for Walmart, the blonde faery appeared again, this time in person and very angry. "You already stopped for food once, you shouldn't be all time eating istead of walking your way, and furthermore, walmart has not payed a sponsor for you to go there". So the man shrinked and pursed the sun as she wanted.
Please put this story under "help building the mylot book" in "things I waht to do with my life", so that we get all this kind of games united.

The man pursued the sun all day, until it passed beyond the horizon and out of his sight. Having already eaten, but very weary, he decided to make camp. He placed his rucksack beneath an old oak tree and settled down to sleep.

Opening his eyes, he saw clear blue sky.
The day is starting out beautiful.
Turning on his side, he face the smoking ashes, remains from the fire last night.
Giving himself a big stretch to shake out the last bits of sleep in him, he got up and started packing up his stuff.

But then he awoke and realized that he wasn't going to die in jail after all. He had just dozed off during a small rest under a broad oak tree. He heard the sound of water and found a small river. Following the winding tributary he saw the mountain that he sought through a gap in the trees.

Rubbing his eyes, he stretched to shake out any last bit of sleep in him.
He got up, looked around to see if it really is a dream. No bag of gold.
Smiling to himself, "fairy giving me a bag of gold... " he chuckled, "what are the odds?"
He got up, packed his things and went on his way.

....since Las Vegas, you remember that crazy night with the magician and the fairy. Boy did we have some fun there. So what have you been up to, and if you're not doing anything do you fancy joining me on my walk? Just don't ask where we are going or how long it will take to get there, the only person who can tell you that is....
