I admit it: Math was not my favorite subject in school. What was? Science. Why? Because I love animals. I love the trees and mountains and oceans and deserts; I love to watch the patterns of change in nature. I marvel at the diversity of life that has evolved on this Earth.Still, math captured my attention, if not my interest, because in elementary school, a teacher told me that math was a tool of science. Well, then, better learn math and at least get a decent grade! However, when I was in elementary school, I was taught math one way: through algorithms — solving equations step by step — in which there was one right way to get to the answer. I was okay at memorizing the steps, so I did well on math tests. I admit, though, that I never really understood the conceptual underpinnings of how math works or why following these prescribed steps led to the answer. I was one of those students who memorized for the test and then promptly forgot the math. Why? Math was not taught in context, and I never really figured out how to apply it fully to science.Do you know if your students truly understand how math works or how they can apply it in the real world? Do you want them to like math? If so, take a hint from some great teachers who’ve integrated mathematical thinking and concepts with other subject areas.

I guess it would be English. It comes naturally to me and since I like to read books, I find it easy to communicate in this language. Plus, you don't have to think so hard! I really enjoy my English lessons in school. Hmmm, maths? I kind of like it too. I feel really happy when I manage to solve a difficult question and also knowing that I did it all by myself. I like the satisfaction while doing Math but I detest the frustration too when I can't get the answer to a problem. Ah, maths. I miss those days in school when I spent hours pondering over Math questions. Haha! My worst subject is Chemistry! I had a lousy Chem teacher and I had to learn it all on my own. I did not even attend extra classes/tuition for Chem. Well, I tried to study Chem everyday and tried to absorb as much information as possible. Luckily, I passed Chem in my exams! That's all. =)

Hey i love engineering drawing the most(heard of this subject) Let me give you some details. An engineering drawing is a type of drawing that is technical in nature, used to fully and clearly define requirements for engineered items, and is usually created in accordance with standardized conventions for layout, nomenclature, interpretation, appearance(such as typefaces and line styles),size, etc. Its purpose is to accurately and unambiguously capture all the geometric features of a product or a component The end goal of an engineering drawing is to convey the all required information that will allow a manufacturer to produce that component. Engineering drawings are often referred to as "blueprints" or "bluelines". However, the terms are rapidly becoming an anachronism, since most copies of engineering drawings that were formerly made using a chemical-printing process that yielded graphics on blue-colored paper or, alternatively, of blue-lines on white paper, have been superseded by more modern reproduction processes that yield black or multicolour lines on white paper. The process of producing engineering drawings, and the skill of producing them, is often referred to as technical drawing, although technical drawings are also required for disciplines that would not ordinarily be thought of as parts of engineering.
