Do you expose too much flesh?

How revealing are your outfits? Do you yourself or somebody else has told you to 'cover' yourself up? What was your reaction to this? Do you think this is fair? Do you think that young kids/children's parents will like this? Do you think it is healthy to go around the community and seeing people wearing revealing clothes? What is your opinion on this? Looking forward to your responses.

Hello engineous!(",) Me personally, do not dress revealing outfits because my mother will be the very first person to critic me. I'm more of a t-shirt and jeans girl. I don't like to wear tight blouse or revealing ones. Believe me, I don't even wear sleeveless when I go out, but at home I do. We were raised to be conservative because as my mother told us, a person can be define by the way he/she dresses up or what one wears. I'm not yet a parent but I think, I will let my children understand that its better to dress properly in public. I have nothing against those who would like to dress in sexy/revealing clothings because its what you want. I go for what makes me comfortable but still trendy.(",)

hi,i friend,i am a traditional middle aged male. After seeing the exposure by woman in recent times[almost since 5 years in INDIA],i never felt bad on man rape woman.Man usually get aroused by seeing woman private body parts. When woman go on exposing their parts under the name of fashion, the rapes are becoming common in the society.I was very sensitive and soft corner previously on woman. That too this exhibition of body in hot countries leads to many problems, where men don't require presexual activities.I am sorry to say all this.

I believe in freedom. That being said, if women want to be thought of as more than a piece of... well, you get the point, if a woman wants respected she'll dress with modesty. If she wants to feel sexy, on the other hand, that's her perogative. However, some kids clothes these days are taking it too far I think, being way to revealing, especially for children.

I love wearing spag straps, halter tops, miniskirts, tank tops cause i look good in it. My parents don't like me wearing those clothes because they are conservative (probably the generation gap). I think there's nothing wrong in wearing or showing a little flesh. If you have the guts and the flesh to show, why not right?. It's not just because you wanted to, it's because you feel more confident and makes you feel good. You won't harm anybody by showing a piece of flesh.

My outfits are never revealing mostly because i wouldn't be comfortable like that. As for others to each is own i guess. I don't think it is necessary but that is my opinion I am sure a lot of ppl don't care or like their body and want to show it off. I do think that kids clothes today are far to revealing, they are children it is not appropriate to dress older than you are.

I don't mind revealing clothes as long as it is not to much. I like to leave things to the imagination, but do believe women should be able to wear what they like. Young girls look great with there tummies showing and nice belly rings.

I agree. Women can wear anything they want. Besides, girls are prettier when they wear what makes them comfortable. It will not harm anybody when a girl dressed up revealing. But of course too much is bad.

I guess that would depend on who's definition of "revealing" we are goin by....I wear mini skirts and sometimes I wear shirts that show cleavage and when I was thinner I'd wear shirts that showed my belly etc...to me thats no too revealing at all but to someone else it might be...I dont wear what I wear to impress anyone else though, if ppl dont like what i have on, look the other way ;-)

Personally i don't like to wear very revealing clothes because i'm not very confident about my body. If i had a flat tummy i would be the first person to show it off. :] I think every person has the right to wear whatever they want and if they feel comfortable wearing nearly nothing then thats up to them. I don't think we should place restrictions on people.

I dress pretty modestly. I don't wear revealing clothing just because that isn't who I am and I'd rather not show my body to the world. I'm not ashamed of my body, but it's just not something that I want to do. I get annoyed with people that wear clothing with body parts hanging out, mostly because I do not want to see that and I'd really appreaciate it if they'd respect themselves and others by wearing clothing that leaves nothing to the imagination. I think people that wear such revealing clothing don't respect themselves and hope that by showing the world their bodies, they'll recieve some sort of attention and it'll make them feel better about themselves.
