Where do you hide the easter eggs?

I went shopping for the eggs today. I was in a hurry when I came home from shopping today and just put the bags in the bath and locked the door. My son just said he was having a shower and I remembered that they were in there. I had to quickly get them out. Now I have hid them in the tumble dryer. I know they will be safe there as they would never look in there.

I don't have to hide them any more because my kids are grown and don't live with me, but I remember a time when I had a boxful of eggs and put them up in the loft, unsuspectingly. I went up a week later, and mice had gotten into the box and nibbled at almost every egg. So, I had to get a human mouse trap and capture them, so as to release them into the field at the bottom of the garden. There were only two that I trapped but it was too late for the eggs. The mice had had an almighty feast or three. I've never put them up there since although I think I'm free of mice now. I put them in my wardrobe. lol. Brightest Blessings and a Happy Easter to you.

All of my kids still believe in the easter bunny and santa and Im not ready to spoil their fun just yet. I think it was only at christmas time that the kids finished the easter eggs from last year!! I dont have the willpower that they have. If I have chocolate, I have to eat it. Best wishes and Happy Easter to you too.

I have actually hidden the eggs in a bag in the bottom of my fridge. One of my sons actually asked me what was in there and I told him not to worry about it and he hasn't said anything since. I don't know if he worked it out or not. I love the idea of the dryer, but I can't do that because my washing machine is the dryer as well and I have to use my washing machine every day. Happy Easter!

Wow!! You are so lucky that you are able to hide them there. Unfortunatly, my kids seem to live in the fridge from after school till bedtime and I think they would dissappear before the easter bunny comes.

I always hide presents in my closet, I know the kids aren't going to be snooping around in there (at least not without me knowing about it). So I am just careful not to open my closet door if the kids are in my bedroom.

That is one of the first places they would look if they decided to go searching. I have been caught out before hiding presents in there and wont make that mistake again.

Everything I buy for my daughter's easter basket gets put in the spare room closet cause she never goes in there. Same with the christmas presents. Every year my daughter askes me to do an easter egg hunt for her and her friends but we never seem to be home for it. We are leaving on Fri. to go visit one of my online friends for easter so again, no egg hunt this year. I'm going to try my best next year to surprise her with an egg hunt. We have an acre yard with lots of nifty hiding spots which is ideal for a hunt.

If I told you, I'd have to kill you...KIDDING! Since I don't have kids or very young family around I don't hide them anymore, but I think it's funny that nobody ever looks in your dryer... That sure says who does the work around your house

My wife hid the eggs and she wouldn't even tell me where. I went looking for them but I really couldn't find them. Even though the kids have got them now, she still won't tell me her hiding spot, lol!

I don't understand this hiding the eggs before Easter thing. Don't you color them with the kids? We buy a few dozen eggs, boil them and color them in what ends up being a fun and messy Saturday afternoon. Then the decorated eggs are put in a bowl in the fridge so everyone can eat them. The only thing we hide is the candy for the Easter baskets, because the baskets get filled Saturday night before Easter and hidden before I go to bed (in the dryer, closet, cupboard, etc) so the kids can search for them in the morning.
