What color is your bathroom?

Mine is...get this...PINK! Not by choice...the toilet and tub are grey, the tiles pink, the sink white and the floor is orange linoleum! ICK! I am redecorating...leaving the tiles (too much work) and the fixtures (although the sink is stained, so I am replacing it)--the upper portion of the walls and ceiling will be white to give the appearance of plaster and the trim/vanity will be painted black. I haven't decided about the floor (still thinking of that). I saw something at a restaurant--it was almost over the top in the way it was decorated and I decided at that moment I was keeping the pink tiles.

Gosh your bathroom sounds like a technicoloured nightmare at the moment! Do you have to put your sunglasses on everytime you go to the toilet lol? Guess we know what you will be up to this Easter! I redecorated mine last year and put tongue and groove stained quite a nice blue for the bottom half of the the walls and had new under the sink cabinet made of the same stuff, the walls are cream and I lay ceramic cream tiles on the floor (although that was a blimmin nightmare laying!) Everyone who goes in there says it reminds them of the beach huts by the sea, which is good as that was exactly the look I was going for! Good luck with the decorating!

I think someone color blind did it...and the worst part? The lighting is fluorescent, so you really end up looking your worst in front of the mirror! I'm going to be tackling it more after I come back this weekend. Your bathroom sounds awesome and very classy!

Mine is quite large and roomy--but I've got a sloped roof with no insulation on the outside wall (I've got a window though) or on the ceiling--it gets quite chilly during the winter. I'm hoping that I'll be able to find a nice lighting fixture for it after the holiday. You have a wonderful holiday too--thanks!

Oh my flourescent lighting, oh dear! Mines ok, it's quite small and you can tell it was done by an amateur but I'm proud of it as I did it! Have a super Easter!

My master bathroom is wallpapered in light beige with thin dark dusty pink and white stripes towels and rugs match in solids of either the pink or tan and white. The guest bathroom is papered in cream with designs of blue and white marsh birds and pale yellow flowers in patches of marsh grass. Towels and rugs in the blue color of the birds.

That's sounds almost cozy! Very classy too! I have been told NOT to wallpaper the bathroom, but I've already got TWO layers there (and they won't come off!), plus I've seen my father and my neighbor do it--it's all about getting the seams to match perfectly. The guest one sounds friendly and inviting too--thanks for sharing!

The redone bathroom - THis is the "after" photo of the redone bathroom. Unfortunatly, you can't see the tub to the left, I am very proud of that.
Our bathroom is blue and white. It was the first major projet we did after moving in. The last owners had put up this off-white panel board that had a plastic strip at every seam to hold it together. It looked very cheap and dirty all the time. We ripped all that down and put up new drywall on two of the walls (the other two were salvagable) and added a light fixture over the sink while we were at it. We also replaced the tiny vanity with a slightly bigger one, layed vinyl tiles on the floor and removed the "box" someone had built around the outside of the footed tub (got a few nasty surprises under there, I might add) then painted the outside blue. I painted a "watery" pattern in blue on the wall to finish the room. We did all the labor ourselves and the whole project cost us about $500, with $250 of that being the cost of the sink/vanity and faucet fixture. Good luck on your project!

Very nice! (I checked the picture too). How long did it take you to redo that bathroom? I've got a toilet room (literally just a toilet in the room with a window and door) that is ALL formica! I'm having a sink installed, I'm moving the door and repainting it a burnt orange (not as hideous as it sounds) on the trim and a light green on the walls. I'm also selecting a new light fixture--it was just a utility fixture, single bulb. I also want to sponge some gold on the trim, to brighten it up.

Well, it is our only bathroom, so we had to do it in stages to keep it usable when we couldn't work on it, which slowed us down a bit. But if you just count the work time, it probably took us about a week of working 8 hour days. We did a few other things I didn't list in the original post, like texture the ceiling and change that fixture, too. Pretty much there is nothing in there that looks like it did before the remodel, except the toilet itself, which was rather new.

My Bathroom color is White, i would like that to be bright. Since i am staying in a rented appartment flat, i can't get it painted or change the tiles to my wish. But luckily here every thing is fit to my wish. White color keeps my mind fresh and calm.

That must be incredibly difficult to keep clean! Right now I'm limited financially, so I can't change the tiles, so I'm going to work it all up to fit me! Personally, I'm not a pink person--I'd just as soon have some soothing blues or browns--white is too bright for me! (especially when I've been drinking--then I want it to be dim!)

Mine is BORING, we live in military housing so we can't really customize anything. Its tan walls, white sink, tub and toiled and ugly grey-ish colored tile flooring. It's pretty ugly! I love PINK though, that's my favorite color! I'd love a pink bathroom!

Not with an orange linoleum floor right? I'd be stymied living in military housing--you really can't do anything with it can you? What do you do to accessorize and make it your own?

Without saying ,Bathroom color is what people consider of whiling bathroom products. Red, yellow and Blue is the primary colors. Each color has its sole color feature. For example, red color stands for intense, sensual and energetic; Purple colors stand for regal, decadent, luxurious. Specific colors you love depends on your color preference...you can view more in our site. hope this tips can help.
