shaving off eyebrows......

While getting ready for work this morning I wondered what would happen if I shaved off my eyebrows? My hair is graying from the front top to the front sides. My eyebrowns are thick and black.
If I shave my eyebrows would they grow back in dark or with gray in them or all gray? Or would they not grow back at all? What do you think?

it will also be a fashion .. i have a friend in my college who don't have any hair on yes and don't have hairs even on eyebrows. he is remaining fine all day, he don't feel shame, and looking at him many people have started haveing their eyebrows threaded..!don't worry if you have ever shave your eyebrows.

Sometimes they grow back but other times they do not so you are taking the chance you would never have eyebrows again . A friend of my mom's shaved her's one time as she was hoping they would grow back nice and they just never grew back at all .
If you do decide to shave them they will still come back gray as that is the color they are now . You can't shave anything and expect it to come back the color it was when you were younger , but if you really want to you can go see someone about dying them the same as people do with dying your hair , this is something that you have to be careful about though as you have to make extra care not to get anything in your eyes as you could ruin your eyes doing this .

I never thought of that, not growing backl at all is a real concern. Oh, and they are dark now. NO gray yet. They will really stand out on my face if my hair keeps getting more lighter/grayer.

ohh hun..dont do that!! when your brows would grow back they will grow back thicker and more wild,,and you will look more like man,,and as far as the graying..i know alot of people with gray and white hair that have dark eye brows and no graying at all..just weird things that happen.just have them waxed or twreezed if u want to make them more shaped..they may grow back a bit with a few more in places..but please hun./dont shave them!

Don't do it!. I shaved one eyebrow off when I was 12 years old and every day for many, many years I have regretted it. It looked horrible growing back in, it came back and is still completely different from the way it was...different shape (no shape)and the hairs are stiff and bristley, trying to get them both to look same drives me crazy!

Thanks for BR. Last week when I was at the beauty shop two women and one man (yes really) came in to get their eyebrows waxed I asked about is it really populat and instead of tweasing and every hair hurting the shape is painted on with wax, then after is dries one swift tug and the wax shape comes off with the hair stuck in it and you have beautifully shaped eyebrows. The woman I asked said it doesn't hurt like tweasing does.

OMG, forget it then. I'm not even gonna try it. I've never been into tweezing my eyebrows but I may go get that done. I'm not good at giving myself pain, not even that little bit. LOL
It's weird how they've never bothered me before. Never really noticed them but suddenly they just look so bushy and dark. Must be my age and skin tone is changing.!! LOL I turn 48 this weekend.

I do have straight here. Since I was a kid, my hair has been like this and I love it so much. I comb it before I go to sleep and every time I wake up in the morning. I'm loving my hair everyday. Well before going totake a bath.Use a cotton balls and wet this with a baby oil.Rub this to your scalp where there are dandruffs.then you go take a bath.Shampoo your hair and rinse thoroughly.
