Au Pairing (nanny)!!

How many of you out there thought of doing something like this? I did it and let me say. I had a wonderful time. I was an Au Pair for some time over in Germany. I met some wonderful people and made some great friends. If this was something your daughter or son wanted to try, would you let them? Traveling is a great way to experiance life and other cultures.

I always wanted to be a Nanny abroad but when i was thinking about doing it, there were so many people spying on their Nannies & catching them or at least accusing them of mistreating the children.
I think that kind of turned me off doing it as i didn't want something like that to happen. I would NEVER hurt a child but if a child told their parents i had - they'd believe the child.
I guess i was just scared.
I'm glad you enjoy it - at least you get to see some of the world & meet new people.
I cant really do it now coz i'm a SAHM but i kind of wish i had done it!
