When do start your xmas/christmas shopping? / myLot

I know that its only easter time at the moment, but when do you start the christmas shopping. I have ordered and paid for all of the food from online hamper clubs. I just have got to get the presents now. I am going to start buying a gift voucher every week now so that closer to christmas I can ask the kids what they want and get it for them. I dont buy the presents during the year because the kids always change their minds.

I quite often start buying straight after christmas because I have four kids, so christmas gets expensive. I only buy things that early if I know that they will still want it by next Christmas. I have ordered and paid for hampers already too, so at least food won't be an issue.

I usually leave it to the last week before xmas now because I can guarantee the kids will change their minds once I have got it.

I usually start late November. I don't have any kids and don't have a big family, so this gives me plenty of time. I do start saving my money a lot earlier than that though, usually just after Summer has ended.

My wife is the one that gets the christmas presents and she usually start pretty much after christmas, that way we don't have such a big expense just before christmas.
