there is a lot of news in the press at the moment about religion and christian religion there is some talk about religious fanatics and making people do things in the name of jesus almost like they use their religion as an excuse for doing anything they want thats why schools might be scared of this incase religion influences what the students do in a negative way like theyre being guided and told what to do

I am so glad she won this case! That is a wonderful thing! There is a school close to me that some of the teachers still have their classes say their prayers before going to eat luch. I think it's great. I only wish there were more students and teachers like that.

This sounds great. We need more kids in school like this witnessing to other kids about Christ. I am glad she won too.

I am also happy to hear that she won! I really don't see what the big deal is. Times have changed a lot from when I was in grade school - back then, we could perform Christmas plays and sings songs that had references to God, Jesus, and Christianity in them, and no one gave a hoot! Now, if someone does so much as says Merry Christmas to a room for of people, SOMEONE will be offended because "there might be someone who isn't Christian." Well, I really wouldn't care. That's just their way of saying "best wishes," "blessed be," and the like. If someone from another country wanted to pledge allegiance to their flag, I wouldn't mind and if someone of another relgion told me whatever seasonal expression they use I wouldn't mind. I know what they mean. There is a difference between being true to one's roots and shoving your faith down someone else's throat. Also, schools using BCE for historical dates instead of BC seems silly as well because BCE is still measuring before the birth of Christ. Anyway, I can't tell you how happy I am that she won. That is definitely a step in the right direction as far as I am concerned.

Its sad that it even has to come to that. There aloud to teach anything they want in schools, its not illegal for religion to be tought, nor is it illegal for evolution (as full of crap as it may be) It is illegal to force it to be tought, so why do they get away wit putting evolution in our kids "science" teaching. How is a religion of dirt, which is theories based on theories, with some full out lies mixed in aloud to be tought as scientific facts? Needles to say my high school "science teacher" hated my guts, i had a factual response for every ludacris joke she tossed out about evolution. She eventually tried to negativly affect my grades due to it but my parents pressed charges against the shcool cause it is discrimintaion, and she lost big time. People just dont know there rights is the problem, this country owes its very existance to the Christians. Christian ethics caused us to break away from oppresion and form our own country, our ethic were the cuase of the end of slavery. "one nation under God" You cut down the Christians and turn you back on God and see how long this land stands..

Thank you Lord!! I'm so glad that more and more people are willing to make a stand for their faith, and a lot of times a child will do it quicker than an adult! That absolutely sends chills down my back!! I wholeheartedly believe that when they stopped allowing Bible reading in schools that is when a lot of the problems that we have today began. Added to that was when they made teachers have to have a witness to paddle a student. I just pray that more and more schools will let students share their faith like this little girl. I know there are a lot of them out there who want to, it is just being allowed to. Thank you so much for that story!! I loved it!!

I am so glad this case was won! Imagine the eagerness of the child to talk about how Jesus helped to restore the family and being told not to talk about what was most important in her life! In their fear, many schools have leaned way to far to the other side in trying to follow the "separation of church and state" and the ACLU hasn't helped.

PRAISE GOD FOR THAT!!!!! It's the first step to the salvation of the whole school. Someday, the faculty will understand her purpose.
