Have you ever faced this dilemma?

The amount I spend on having access to Internet for 2 hrs. at a Cyber Cafe (including access to Mylot) will fetch a square meal. Everyday, before I enter or after I leave the the Net, I encounter a desperately poor aged person (Not necessarily same person of the previous day) beseeching for a few dimes, so that heshe can buy a meal. Occasionally I forego the visit to Net and pay for his meal. In 15 months I earned nothing from net and spent a lot, except exchanging views or spreading my idio syncratic thoughts which are not anyway accepted or at least read by the Netizens. Then I feel: "Why not I feed the hungry fellow regularly, leaving the Net to others?"
Then, my inner desires and hopes provoke me: "If you earn more, you can feed more people and more cats. With your 2 or 3 hours net expenses you can feed only one person."
Thus, I hang and swing on the cradle wildly.
