Do looks really MATTER which predict about a person???

I don't beleive this proverb.looking at a person you cant judge about his nature, ability or capacity.In case if you are friendly with a person for sometime you may be in a position to tell something about him.
A low income man looks as if he is a professor bcoz he dresses like that.A professor comes to the college like a sanyasi.People look gentlemanly but thier activities are different.When we come to know such people are taken into custody we are suprised?In this present world the above proverb is to be termed outdated? What do you feel about this?

i think that look is also a important aspect in ones prediction. because for the first impression you only need the fine look and your first look is the best one so our look is the important one. but we cant say that is the only way to impress others, our hard work can impress others easily.

By looks you cannot judge a person's behaviour or nature.The examples you have given are of a person's profession , by knowing one's profession we cannot determine his nature.For knowing a person's nature we have to spend some time with him.Just by looks we can get wrong most of the times.Also in the present times criminals takes the appearence of respectable people of society.

I don't think that looks really matters for a persons behaviour and his nature and his profession too. My dad wears shirt and trouser and he generally keep his shirt out. Now if you will come to my dad's office you won't be able to judge that this simple guy owns the construction and finance company . May be it's simplicity of a person which I admire most. In present world everybody is different from what he/she looks .

yeah i believe looks say a lot about the person and specially nose ,i hv neve come across aperson whos has nice nose and he/she is bad,call it a nose fixation ,same with hands,and it is more about the vibe u get about the person when u first come in contact with ,feel it and let ur sixth sense explain things for u ,it does friend,btw u r also in ibibo?

I don't think you can judge people with their looks. I think more you get to know a person more confused you would be about him. I learned this from experience.

You cannot judge a person by their looks, you need to get to know a person before making a judgement. Anyone can project an image, it is only when you get to know whagt is inside that you come to really know someone
