hewlett - packard notebooks

I was talking with my friends the other day about laptops/notebooks. I've got an HP laptop. And we were discussing about the quality of the brand. What is your oppinion about HP? How about comparing it to other brands like sony vaio or acer. Which do you find best? Of course, technology always moves fast and in no-time your laptop (nevermind what brand it is) might just grow old. You always need a new hard drive or a fancier video card or dvd-writer. Where do you find spare parts for your laptop?

I don't have an HP but I look at there website a lot and the specs seem really strong. I think acer is kind of a joke and sony vaio is overpriced... HP Isn't flashy either.

i totally agree with you about th Acer Laptops. And indeed Vaio is a little too expensive. It seems you know quite a lot about laptops. Thank you for your answer.
