Does anyone else think it is time for Lakisha to go home.

Don't get me wrong, the girl can sing!! That big 'ole voice really is amazing and I have enjoyed some of her performances very much but here's my case against her.
First, I think she is a little more cocky than she deserves to be. The way she nods at the judge's input, not in appreciation but more as if to say, "I approve of that comment".
Second, completely disregarding the industry expert advice for the second time. I can understand the first time when she chose to sing the diamonds song over the other recommendation; but when Tony Bennett tells you to knock em dead with a big full note at the end of a song......
I just don't think her decision was "staying true to herself" as much as just pure cocky.
The one time she has taken advice was from Simon when he told her to stay away from the young, short skirt look.
Finally, I think her personality leaves a lot to be desired. She gives the big, beautiful performances and then within seconds leaves you feeling flat by having nothing to really follow it up with.
I think she has a great voice and will likely be able to make something of herself with it, but she just doesn't deserve to be the next American Idol. Anyone else agree?

I think Lakisha deserves to keep going and possibly win. She has a wonderful voice and has been consistent the whole way through the contest. I think she will be one of the last three as her main competition will be Melinda and Jordan. She is a lot more deserving than most of the contestants.

I do agree that she is among the best talent. She deserves to be able to use her voice to further her career and I hope she does. It is just my opinion that she is not acting very much like 'an American Idol'.
Jordin, for example, is adorable in the way she is really trying and getting excited about the opportunity being given to her.
Lakisha could take a few lessons from Jordin and Melinda in this area.

I feel she could learn to be more outgoing, and appreciative when someone compliments her on her singing, and learn to be more of someone who can perform and sing good. Personally, I like her more than I like Melinda, but I just cannot see either of these 2 selling a lot of Tickets if they did a Concert, and if they made CDS I cannot see a lot of them selling like some of the others have. No, I think she could learn a thing or two from some of the ones who have made it Big before her.

I really like Lakeisha and I think she deserves to be in the final 2. She needs to show more personality to make it there but I believe that she can do it. I think there have been way more cockier people on the show (Antonella, Gina). Both of these contestants argued with the judges every week and completely disregarded their comments and opinions. There are also less talented people that need to go home (Hailey, Sanjaya). This is a singing competition, if Lakeisha really puts in the time and works on her performance she can go all the way.
