If an astronomer found a planet similar to Earth, should we colonize or leave

You know we'd colonize it V. Natural drive for survival. There is no way the powers that be are going to leave it alone.

you should think from logistic perspective. even if an astronomer found a habitable planet now, it will be a long long time before we have the mean to go there.
i don't think the planet will any nearer than 1 light years. so unless we can build a spaceship that can travel at light speed, colonizing other planets will be just a dream.
