Okay...now this new feature is aggravating!

I just answered a discussion from my email. It was a long and thought out answer which took me some thought and some re-wording before I felt it was complete. I hit the submit button, and mylots takes me to the new sign-in page. When I put in my username and password, it then takes me back to the discussion and a BLANK box! ARGH! Now that is going to be irritating!

That happened to me once when I deleted all my cookies and forgot to login. Like you, I was responding to a discussion and it was long and well thought out. I was pissed to say the least when it disappeared after logging in to post it.

Okay...deleting cookies strikes a bell! I used ccleaner yesterday and deleted a lot of cookies and temp files etc. ARGH! My own fault! LOL! I did it to myself! LOL!

You know... I had that happen once. I don't remember why... maybe I followed a link to a discussion, then it wanted me to log back in after posting my answer. I got back to the blank page and, but had NO interest in repeating my answer. So I just went back to the discussion, and my answer was there! So it went through after all.

The only way to avoid to loose your hard work is to copy it before submitting. I have a special program that helps with the language and therefore the response I have delivered is there too before submitting. Easy to paste it back into the clear place! I guess we all have faced the same thing as you have, and learned to copy before posting.

This sounds like it could be very irritating. Have you asked for assistance about it!

I get so disgusted when I get thrown out of the response box, for whatever reason, that I just say to heck with it and go onto the next discussion.

Just some glitch, I have not encountered it myself. It pays for a long response to be typed out on Notepad and then transferred for safety's sake. I know when the changes first happened. Despite my checking that my response did not go through it did 3 times. I couldn't figure that one out. So hopefully next time you type in on Notepad and then copy and paste it in the box. That way you still have it if it doesn't take. Good luck with this.

I had this happen a few days ago too .. flippin' MyLot and their crazy updating without telling anyone .. but I have learnt through bitter experince to do a quick copy of any long reply or carefully worded reply I am about to make just in case I fall foul of MyLots little updates .. So when I was suddenly catapulted to the log in page (which as it happens I have never seen before as I never log out) .. when I finally got back to the discussion I could simply paste my reply back in again ..

I had never seen the log in page either! I finally realized it was because I had used CCleaner one day and it erased all of the cookies on my computer and all of the temp files...so mylots didn't recognize my computer! Duh! LOL!

Hi Esther, I haven't had that happen yet, just the very slow page loading. The pages would take 45-60 seconds to load and sometimes wouldn't load. No other websites that I was visiting did that, so I'm certain it was a myLot glitch. I made a post about it, but myLot removed it! Lets hope they let your post stand. Yeah, they found my post that was a very real complaint and deleted it, but they don't delete all the posts that I alert them to that are cut/pastes from the internet. Go figure.

I have not had that happen...yet. I think that it has happened to my sister. I'll bet it is agravating. My responses are not very long, but it takes me quite awhile to do them.

Thank goodness, this has never happened to me, although I do usually remember to copy my responses into word before I post them. I do occasionally forget though, and my luck this will be the one time that it does happen. I suppose I would be rather upset if it did happen on one of those responses.
