When I was in college, I got an invitation to join a website that operated on a "Pay for watching ads" scheme. I gave it a shot, and it's been working alright so far. They're currently in a bit of a battle with Virgin Mobile, as VM is launching virtually an identical system for free cell minutes for watching ads. Ironic, as BP and VM were in talks and a nondisclosure agreement was in place. Ah well. Anyways, the earnings aren't bad. 25 cents for watching an ad and giving a quick review that shows you watched it. There aren't many ads, but it's a cool way to get some extra money into your paypal account. They've been increasing the number of ads with the more members that sign up, as it's more attractive to marketers if more people are being exposed. You can sign up with your .edu email address, or if you don't have one, your mobile phone number.
