why do romanians spend hollydays in other countries?

tell me why ? in romania we have both seaside and mountain regions beautifull landscape.however romanians still spend their hollydays in other countries why? why?

I for one go to other places (mainly) for historical reasons :) To see places like Notre Dame or Versailles or Louvre in France or the castle in Budapest or the Koln cathedral or whatever. Romania is a beautiful country (yet oh so unkempt) but there are other beautiful countries too so why limit ourselves :P

maybe because in romania the prices are very expensive
