Black Ice is a great poet

I visited www.black-poetry.com today and saw the video of Black Ice. He is absolutely incredible. I know that his talk is pretty heavy, but I do like that how he puts words together and does it in plain spoken english. I also like that he doesn't look like a typical poet.

That sort of reminds me of Russel Simmons' Def Poetry Jam. Have you ever seen that? I can never get enough of that show.

Hey there! I have seen Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jams. In fact one time there was a guy on there who was deaf. I mean, he could not hear but he could speak and sign. And he spoke and signed a poem. It was really good! And a good play on words as well.

I have heard Black Ice. He has an incredible voice and is very dramatic in the choice of his poetic words. If you enjoy reading his poetry, you should check out Nikki Giovanni.
