Music lovers, what was the first band you were ever really into?

For me it has been Roxette and Eurythmics. And then the Swedish AOR (short for Adult Oriented Rock) legends "Talk of the Town".

LOL, Mine was Linkin Park. I was OBSESSED with them. They are still good...but Definitally found other bands im into more, like NIN. I remember lifehouse. They were great. I still love that song, hanging by a moment. My Fiance and I want that to be our wedding song

I've always liked music... even when I was really really little. But the first band that I got obcessive over and had like everything they came out with was New Kids on the Block when I was seven or eight.

I think it was the band called CREED but they are no more.The result of the split was two bands Alter bridge and Scott stapp's band.They were really awesome.I had bought their album titled "The human clay" and it was perfect. I still have it with me.I don't listen to it though.I'm kinda into emo core and hard rock.I listen to punk rock now and then too.

That's great! I also like the music of Lifehouse. But unfortunately, they're not the first band that I was really hooked to. The first band I listened to was Parokya Ni Edgar. They're an OPM band so I guess you don't know them. I like their music so much because all their songs are very catchy and worth to be called a "hit song". All their singles became a certified hit! I think for me it was the Brecker Brothers with their 1992 album "The Return of the Brecker Brothers". Has anyone here heard it? R.I.P. Michael Brecker!!!

i can't remember what the first band I was into but I can remember 2 solo artists that I loved They were Paula Abdul and janet Jackson! I can remember my room plastered with posters of both of them and dancing and singing to their music all the time

I've always loved music, but the band that changed everything for me was The Smiths. Wow... Words cannot describe how completely awesome they are. Yeah, some of you may not agree, but they're MY OWN personal favorite.

The first singer I ever really liked was Kylie Minogue when she first moved from tv to music back in the 1980s. I'd been introduced to music well before that through my mother and grandmother and did like stuff and sing along quite a bit back then too, but Kylie was definetly when I sat up and really listened and got hooked on music.

I think the first band I was ever into was Alabama, a country band. I have been a fan of them since I was eight or nine. Garth Brooks is another if singers count in this question also. They're probably the two I have been a fan of the longest.

Ok I'm really going to show my age here! LOL. The very first band I was into was The Monkees. I watched their TV show religiously and my parents bought me every album they put out. Davy Jones was my first big crush at the tender age of 7. They were funny and cute and had some great pop songs. I still have most of the original records (yes, big black vinyl records). Most of them are so worn out I doubt they would even play if I had a record player.

my first band was Pearl Jam, i really like a lot this band I bought their album and watch the videos. then i listened a similar groups, like Stone temple pilots, nirvana, creed. but i always prefer Pearl jam, it´s my favorite band

The Carpenters and Savage Garden. I really love them and the Corrs. I'm dying just to have their songs on the player. I really them before. I became obsessed to the corrs, so much.
