What different kinds of pets have you had?

Which have you felt the closest bond with?
I've had cats, rabbits, dogs, a guinea pig, a rat, a guinea pig, an gerbil, a mouse, and fish.
I've felt the closest bonds with cats and rabbits... probably because they're soft and (sometimes) cuddly. I like to cuddle with them, talk to them, and basically treat them as part of the family.
I've felt a bond with all of my pets, the closest ones with mammals, in general... although there's something magical & wondrous about having fish ~ especially colorful ones that are very active. I think it gives me a boost to watch them.

I grew out in the coutry. So I have had many different pets. Lets see..the most common would be...dogs,cats,kittens, mice, gerils, guinea pigs. I have also owned a iguana and birds as pets. Also horses, a cow, a pet chicken and a pet pig.. Had pet fishes and pet rabbits as well.

Growing up we had lots of cats and dogs.There always seemed to be a stray that needed a home. We also had birds, fish, bunnies, hamster, gerbils, and a farret.
I have always bonded well with our dogs. Sometimes the cats but mostly dogs. I love to cuddle, hug, and play ball with the dogs.

We've had mostly dogs. We've also had birds, rabbits and fish. My family was always closest to our dogs. The dogs were the ones who seemed to know us and care about us.

i had various pets
first i had cat and then i found outside while i was playing two hamsters that had some other little hamsters and then cats again and yesturday i just bought an english bulldog puppy... he is so sweet, he has 5 weeks, and i think i already love him!

I've mainlly have had cats, but I had a dog--very briefy, pet mice (yes believe it or not with my cats)l, birds, even one time I had pet crickets as i love the sound of them --LOL

I grew up on a farm & animals were a way of life. We learned very early not to get attached because the animals were for making a living. Of course I always got attached to one animal or another (once I got really attached to a COW!)Now that I am an adult I have a cat, a mouse, 2 tarantulas, & a scorpion. I had bought the mouse the mouse to feed to the tarantulas but I am a softy and couldn't bring myself to do it. So I bought a cage & food & I am now very in love with him. But my baby will always be my cat, Ollie. We got him when he was a kitten & I always thought I wasn't that attached to him but he was run over by a car & I fell apart. We drove 2 hours away at 10 pm at night to an animal clinic to save him. I realized then just how much he means to us & especially me.
