Violency in Brasil seems to be growing more and more every year! that's why we have a bad education.. we can't go out at night coz we might be stolen! we need more security in our cities and stop all that crap.. it's a pity coz Brasil is a beautiful place but can't handle the violency.

Violence is the consequence of a lot of bad conditions in Brazil. You can't blame someone who has no other choice then stealing, because it's not his/her fault. Poor educational system and few employment positions are the primary reasons for increasing violence. Give them education, give them job and lower taxes, they won't steal anymore. Anyway, Rio and SP are violent cities, but you can enjoy living in them. I have lived in Rio for all my life and I've never been a victim of crime.

Brasil is considered one of the most violent countries in the world. The index of robbery, kidnapping, exterminations, and domestic violence against women is super high and contributes to such consideration. Its causes are always the same: misery, poverty, poor distribution of income, unemployment and desire for revenge. The government, in turn, concentrates power in the hands of a few while leaving aside the intitutions that represent the people. The governmental structure makes the violence necessary in some aspects to the maintenance of social inequality. no one knows for sure where the violence is concentrated, as they are prisoners suffer torture, mistreatment, descasos, persecution and oppression they have in making themselves bigger and a desire for revenge exaggerated. Is is not necessary to a scenario of war with heavy weapons in the center of cities, but fo érsonnel trained to combat violence and its causes. One important step would be to cut excessive freedom that today governs the country, enforce stricter punishments for those who break the rules and reduce the economic exploitation. Good think it is a little.

This is a very good point, Violence in brazil is everytime getting worse and worse for 2 reasos, 1st lula is giving people the condition to stay at home without working and even like that, receivin enough money to buy food, gas, the power and water is practically for free, so what's the point of working? THe other reason is the poor teachers salaries that they don't want to teach well the kids, because they don't get enough money to give a quality education.

Hello marombera! I think violence is everywhere, cause it's a problem that men carry with him, it's not just the place. I think people are addicted to judge and just look at the bad side of everything. How many times did you heard that brazilian people is kind, or hard worker, or that Brazil has a lot of beautiful places? Violence will only stop when people's mind change, and looking at the bad things won't make it. Think about it.
