Do you take your car to a car wash and let them do all the work? Do you use the self-serve type car washes and wash it yourself? Or are you like me and most of the time just was it yourself in the driveway with a hose and bucket of soapy water?

Car washes are great! I like the ones where you can stay in the car and drive through! Its so neat seeing all the water and soap and stuff. I really get a kick out of that stuff, and im 18! LOL!

Yeah they are pretty neat, aren't they! I remember taking my kids when they were smaller and they thought it was very cool.

I am way too lazy and short to wash my vehicles with a bucket of soapy water. I am only 5 feet tall and I have a Ford Explorer and a Ford Expedition. I would have to get out a ladder to wash the windshield! I drive my vehicles through the automatic car wash whenever I get the chance. It is especially important in the winter when there is a lot of salt on the ground.

We live in an apartment complex. They don't allow us to wash our car here. We go to the self serve most of the time. Once in a while we go to ones where they do all the work.

Driving along - time to clean the car I think
I can't really afford to take my car up to a car wash although it really could do with a good clean after the winter. I might get it done over the weekend, with a bucket of hot soapy water and a lot of hard work though.

I like to go through the automatic washes. Whenever I'm having a bad day I like to take my car through an automatic wash and by the time the wash is over I somehow feel a little better. It works even better if I blare the radio and sing on the top of my lungs. You should try it! :)

It depends on how bad it is and how much dirt there is. Also, if I don't feel like taking it home and doing all that stuff I'll just run it through one of those machines. Plus, they're fun to go through =).

I never wash our car, lol. My boyfriend does all that. I clean the house, so that's his job and he loves his car so likes to take care of it. He brings it the the local garage and washes it himself with the stuff they have there. Then he brings it home and hoovers the inside and polishes everything and pops a new air freshner in it every Sunday morning.

It's much more fun to use a hose in the driveway-you can dress like you want to and have some fun. Sometimes, the car wash is the only place to get it nice and clean, though.

I love to get my car washed, but it's expensive and gas costs enough money so getting there is another expense. I did treat myself once to a high-end, detail cleaning, but it was worth it and made my car look and smell brand new. The last car wash I went to was held as a fund raiser for the local little league. It cost me five dollars and it went to a worthy cause.
